In 2011, the logo for Memphis Children’s Clinic Pediatrics was awarded a Brand New Award in the logo category—one of the two logo entries overall receiving five of five stars from the judges. Design icon and a cultural hero of mine, Paula Scher was one of those judges.
You can read a little more about this logo and see more from the Brand New Awards here.
Shortly after, the same logo was featured in Indexbook’s Logobook.
The Memphis Children’s Clinic is one of the area’s oldest and largest Pediatric Medical Groups. Comprised of over thirty doctors at six locations, they serve both state and private-insured families.
After recognizing the challenge of branding one practice with six offices, we created this flexible identity system containing add-on regional identifiers. The system allows the locomotive logo to stand alone or appear with any number of typographic train cars.
All the cars line up nicely on the top of letterhead.
